Producer's Commitments

As a condition of being a participant of Farm to Chef Express,
a project created by a grant given to Cornell Cooperative Extension
of Washington County, I agree to the following principles and
operation guidelines:
- All products I sell through Farm to Chef Express will meet
high quality standards, and all agreed upon quality and packaging
standards set by the Farm to Chef Express program. I understand
that Farm to Chef Express may reject products that do not
meet the standards established by the program.
- I will only sell products that will be grown/raised/produced
at my farm. I will not purchase products from other farms
or other sources for resale through Farm to Chef Express.
- All products will be clearly labeled according to state
and federal regulations.
- Products advertised for sale through Farm to Chef Express
will be available as advertised. I will immediately notify
the Marketing Liaison of any changes to the products offered
for sale.
- I will use the production definitions adopted by Farm to
Chef Express to accurately describe the growing methods for
each product offered for sale.
- I will deliver products to the agreed upon designated pick
up point at the designated time.
- All products from my farm that are delivered through Farm
to Chef Express will be purchased/sold through Farm to Chef
website/ordering sheets.
- I will not sell products to Farm to Chef Express buyers
for less than the price I advertise on the website/ordering
sheet. I can change my prices at any time, but will do so
through the Farm to Chef ordering vehicle.
- I confirm that I carry at least $1 million of product liability
insurance covering all products and will provide a Certificate
of Insurance if requested.
Please return with your $40 membership fee made payable to
CCE of Washington County at 415 Lower Main Street Hudson Falls,
NY 12839.
Please note, a remaining $60 is due after you have sold $500
of product through the program.
